I had the opportunity to copyedit Craig Ellwood: Remembering the Thin Man, a richly detailed account of the renowned modernist architect’s life and work. Written by Ernie Jacks and published by Modern San Diego, this book provides an intimate look at Ellwood’s design philosophy, career trajectory, and the relationships that shaped his legacy.

My role was to refine the manuscript while maintaining Jacks’ unique perspective, ensuring the narrative was clear, compelling, and true to the spirit of Ellwood’s visionary work. Through meticulous editing, I helped transform decades of correspondence, photographs, and reflections into a cohesive tribute to one of the most influential figures in mid-century modern architecture.
